The Armodafinil compound in the Artvigil smart drug stimulates the Orexin receptors in the body (OX1 and OX2). Following this the Orexin peptide of the body is impacted upon and activated. This activation leads to the user feeling awake. Dopamine is an important neurotransmitter that helps in the wakefulness of a person and the increase in cognition. The Dopamine neurotransmitter is produced by the Hypothalamus of the user. The reuptake of Dopamine is inhibited at the point of reuptake by the synapses and this causes a pool of Dopamine to be formed in the vicnity of the reuptake.
